It's a great 3-in-1 meter - the multimeter is great and fast, seemingly accurate. It has a very basic frequency generator, and the oscope performs as you'd expect. I only dislike that it eats batteries when simply shut down (vampire power draw). It's worth the extra $$$ over the now-competitive market of cheaper handheld scopes. The XY mode also seems to work pretty good. Great tool to have handy when you don't want to drag desktop around - but want "more" than just the small scopes deliver.

I have an Owon bench scope and an Owon meter (B35) that I've used for years, so I thought I was making the right purchase when I bought the Owon brand HDS272s. On the first day of testing the oscilliscope/waveform generator by connecting them together, they both quit working. There also appear to be issues with the PC software and other meter settings. (firmware?) They claim, "We are one of the leading and professional handheld oscilloscopes manufacturers and suppliers in China" BUT SO FAR THERE IS ZERO TECHNICAL SUPPORT. Do your research before making this purchase. Your only tech support/warranty option is to fill out their web form and hope they contact you. I'm having trouble contacting anyone and That's not professional.

Although this scope had the potential of real value for the price, when trying to get any accurate information displayed is a Chinese JigSaw puzzle! Nothing user friendly about this scope except Amazon's (Thank You) easy return process!Customer service is typical Chinese-based delaying tactics to frustrate you with runarounds while providing no meaningful help.I would NEVER RECOMMEND OWON products again because of this experience. Returned for refund!
