My tiel stopped using any/all cuttlebones. This is good to add to her food, limited amounts. I also added a mineral bar & all is well.

I offer it to my pair of King Quail and they love pecking at it. Since I get an egg a day from them I like that they are getting extra calcium.

I have an aquarium that trends to acidic—I think due to a large 20+ year old plecostomus. I read that adding oyster shells in a mesh bag into the back of your filter would buffer against this. I tried it with about a quarter cup of this product a month or two ago and it works! The pH has remained 6.6-6.8. This product seems safe for the fish as well.

I provide Hagen Oyster Shells to my pet pigeons diet. This is necessary for nutrition, and her development with egg laying even though she is not paired with a male. She lays 2 eggs a month and the oyster shells are essential to this process and to her health.

The price was right for 2 boxes of Oyster shells for my worms (ENC's). It has been two weeks and they seem happy. Just like chickens, worms need gravel and grit for there gizzards to grind food.

It lasts a long time for small birds like doves, but it does eventually run out and I'll need to re-order.They like picking up the little flakes, and it's good for their bones.

I used high calcium grit for my 30 year old teal and although I was not using daily, he would frequently have crop problems. When I switched him to these oyster shells, no more problems. It’s a great product, economical and lasts a long time! My bird goes for it before he eats anything else. It is a necessary aid for digestion in pet birds

This product is wonderful for my birds to have some calcium in their diet. A very unusual story relating to this product.. I purchased one of my birds from a breeder that cut the wings so short that even after 7 months her wings feathers wouldn't grow. I was furious with the breeder and felt so bad for the birdy. After buying this and adding it to her diet... I don't know if its coincidence or seriously how good this product is.. her wing feathers suddenly started to grow. She can actually fly now too. I swear it has to be this product. Because nothing else I gave her helped. And the wing feather visibly weren't growing. So this product is a must for a healthy diet. It clearly helped my bird.
