all you need is this harnesses and you do not need to splice any wires it just plugs into the existing harness near the spare tire. you unplug the factory one and then plug this in and all you need todo is mount the ground and the self tapping screw is supplied

Kit works great, plug and play. Wiring seems pretty heavy but the length seems very excessive. Saves a lot of time though. Definitely worth it.
