This is a high quality made bumper that was easy to install and will do its job protecting your investment. Protects the front end of the tractor where the muffler is located. I knocked off one star due to the color not matching the yellow that Cub uses. I did know that ahead of time after reading other reviews but at less than half the price of a factory bumper I can live with the slight mismatch. Overall Iād recommend this item.

This arrived on time, it fits well, was easy to install and looks great to me. I will respond down the road if I experience any issues with it. If only Cub Cadet provided this as a standard feature rather than as an option. Oh well!

Some reviews mentioned that the bolts were too large for the holes in the frame so, as others did, I screwed the bolt in before attaching the bumper. It was tight enough that a wrench was needed, but I didn't need to drill a larger hole. The color is close enough to my XT1 that I can't see the difference. I added some glue to the bumper end caps. The fit was snug so that I used a mallet instead of my arthritic hands to get the caps seated. I feel better for buying this product for $35 through Amazon than I would have if I had purchased the $65 bumper from Home Depot.
