it's a perfect fit for the 4510 frames, the feel it great and it sticks in your hand. You also get that 3rd finger on the grip to help you. I don't know why Tauras made the factory grip in that caliber with only a 2-finger grip. If you own a 4510 frame this is a must to have so you don't get hurt firing your pew-pew.

Fits my hand much better. My pinky finger was feeling left out dangling in the breeze. Now he has his old job back. Good fit for my steel frame public defender. However, the screw hole in the grip was just a little off resulting in cross threading the first couple of threads. I had to open up the hole in the grip and then clean/chase the threads of the screw and pistol with an M4x.7 tap and die. Now it's all good and I like the new grip.

Good quality, a fills the hand, no slip grip. This is the third one I have purchased for various guns they work well. However over time (8-10 years) they will harden and become smooth and a little slippery.

This is just what I was looking for to replace the horrible factory grips on my pistol. Installation is a bit tricky because the screw has to be sent deep into the grip and through a hole into the pistol frame. It took me several tries, but it was worth it in the end. They not only feel good, but they actually enhance the look of the gun too - without spending way more on wood grips. Recommended.

Why Taurus ships these weapons with the tiny grips they do is a mystery. I shoot mine frequently with the lightest #4 shot loads I have for pest control around my sheds. The factory grips would all the trigger guard to "bite" my fingers and leave me not wanting to fire more than about 3 rounds a session of .410 if target shooting. With these all of that is just a memory. My nine year old son (he has large hands for his age) now shoots 15 to 20 rounds a session of buckshot and .45 in complete comfort and control. The only negative I can find is the fit leaves a noticeable (slight) gap at the top of the backstrap. Part of me wants to fill this with some silicone calk; they shoot so well I am afraid to mess with something that works.

If you are looking for a larger, more hand-filling, and very comfortable grip for your Taurus Judge Public Defender, this one from Pachmayr is it!The 'Gripper' style grips that come on the gun from the factory are not bad, and are perfectly functional, especially if greater concealment of the wepaon is what you're looking for. They are not, however, as effective and efficient as the full-size 'Grippers' that come standard on the full-size Taurus Judge.The Pachmayrs required me to slip them on as far as possible, and them hammer them against a hard surface, in this case a large gun safe, to fully seat them on the frame. A friend of mine who purchased these same grips said that they slipped right onto his gun, so it could go either way. Be ABSOLUTELY certain that the weapon is unloaded, of course, before doing either of these things!These grips look good, have a great fit and feel, and will give you a hand-filling grip on this weapon. Until now, it was near impossible, if not impossible, to find a larger grip for the Taurus Judge PD. Pachmayr has solved this issue with both utility and style!
