I don't like much the material the other side of the ruler., but the size is good , that's why I bought it. I put it in the corner of my living room when I don't need it.

I do use rulers frequently; so I was happy to find a good quality metal one. I bought this 12 inch one, as well as the 6 inch. The cork protection on the back is great for use on any surface and helps keep it from slipping while using.

I use with exacto knife and it doesn’t damage the paper or vinyl I press against to cut. Also unlike a wood ruler it’s not prone to warping or being shaved if I cut too close

The product works fine. It is not quite as heavy as the ruler I lost, but is great for gridding a canvas for drawing. It does lie flat on the canvas and the cork back prevents slipping. I would buy it again.

Etched in, easy to read numbers, quality materials.Cork on back helps keep the ruler where you want itI don't like that the numbering/measurements start about 1/8th inch from the edge
