I have several semi major to major plumbing projects going on at the house, greenhouse, workshop and garage. These will be used in the greenhouse. The lead free brass is kind of a must have feature for potable water and these fit the bill.Close examination of these reveals good casting and very good machining. Threads are good and no burrs. A hardware store would easily charge 2-3 times more money for these so I consider these to be a bargain.Note that these do not come with clamps but you will need to get some. I have a LOT of clamps so I'm good to go on this.

I used these to plumb in a pressure boosting pump, whole house filter and hot water recirculating pump. Unlike some other "budget" fittings, these had zero burrs or blemishes. I used 8 so far and they threaded in beautifully.I wrap them with about 5 wraps of blue monster PTFE tape topped with a layer of pipe dope. No leaks. No crossthread or anything irregular.The pex fits tightly, as expected. Packaged in a single bag, it would be nice if it were a resealable bag, but no biggie.

These are well made adapters. The ¾ inch threads are well formed with no burrs or deformed threads. The ¾ inch barbed ends are polished with well-formed barbs, no sharp edges or burrs.These adapters will last many, many years. PEX is my preferred residential piping material. It's easy to use, and easy to add additional pipes to a system or to modify it. I typically use these adapters to either screw into shutoff valves, inline house filters or hot water heaters, to enable PEX pipes to be connected to them.
