Wanted small 120-volt pilot lights so ordered these. Lights are big but it's my mistake....I didn't read carefully. My bad! But I used them anyway and they work great! Very satisfied with this purchase.

These worked but they're not very bright in a well-lit room, and you can hardly tell they're lit when viewed from the side. I will have to orient these to look straight into them. These are AC and DC compatible, but they did not use a bridge rectifier for AC usage, so they are only lit for one-half cycle of the AC wave. They would be twice as bright if they had used a bridge rectifier so that both AC half-cycles illuminated them. They should be brighter with 120V DC as then they would have constant current through them, but I am using them on 120V AC and they are not very bright. I am sure there is little call for 120V DC usage, so why not make them better for their main usage of 120V AC? I would give them 5 stars if brighter and more visible from the side.

The light is not very bright, the cost is IMHO a bit high, the leads are very fine wire at least they were easy to install by just drilling the proper size hole

These lights filled what I needed. The one negative is that the wires going into the housing are not secure and easily fall out. Initially I thought the lights were not working. Then the wires started falling out of the light housing. I ended up securing the lights with a dab of crazy glue. Work fine now.
