The double sided bit seem to work ok but the mandrel that they mount too is nothing more than junk broke after 6 holes so now I have 12 double sided bits and no way to use them

I use these all the time to remove spot welds and they work just fine I don’t have any complaints. I’ve never used any other brand or I may have given them less stars but I may have also given them more for the money they are right on .

Works fairly well for the price! Need to go slow and order not to destroy the teeth. Make sure you create a good divet with a punch in order for the guide to stay in position.

This was cheap and I was able to get done what I needed to with it. I used many more bits than I anticipated; however, I had a lot of spot welds to cut and since this was the first time I have done this kind of work, there was a bit of a learning curve to figuring out the best way to do it. Overall, this was the best way to preserve the metal I wanted when removing the damaged auto-body parts.

I cut 20 spots so far with my first cutter. Ive not flipped it over yet. I use a little cutting oil, and lightly drill the pilot hole (not all the way through the weld). Just enough so the pilot pin doesn't "walk". I let the blade do the work without pressing down on the bit. Just enough so the blade stays in contact with the metal checking it frequently until the weld comes apart.
