The size is accurate, the color is true to description. However, the mats themselves are flimsy. As a watercolor artist, I am familiar with mats, and was disappointed in the flimsiness of these mats compared with other mats that I have ordered through Amazon. Not all artwork gets framed, some pieces are matted and placed inside clear plastic sleeves. Even within the sleeve, these mats don't hold their shape. Backing board is thus required. These mats are like thin cardboard.

This is the cheapest and thinnest mat board I have every purchased. There is no backing, and no texture. When I was taping my photo to it, I dropped the tape and when I peeled it off, the paper of the board came of with it. I was using tape that peels easily and doesn't typically leave any marks. I'm very disappointed in the quality of this product and will not be purchasing them again.

Perfect fit and exactly what I needed to frame my limited edition artist prints! A slight bevel at the inner edge makes the transition between art and mat well defined. Arrived quickly and packed securely in a very study box, no bending or creases!
