The item works as advertised but when it is popped up there is not much clearance for the water to drain so it backs up. When brushing your teeth with the water running you will end up with toothpaste rinse all over your sink because there is not enough gap to take the water away. Would be perfect if it would pop up farther

Once you put the right seals (2 sizes) on, stops up the water fine. Look nice too. Was looking for a cheap, easy way to replace the stoppers that were actuated by the "pull up rod" after they rusted out. Fit the bill. 👍🏼

I should have bought these for my Sinks a long time ago! And they're nice looking too. Only downfall is, it makes the water go down a little slower, but I could deal with that!
