Easy to install and it worked. Saves me from having to buy a new microwave let alone having to spend a whole day taking out the old microwave and installing a new one..It comes in a two pack, so I guess I have one left to spare

You should understand the difference between a normally open switch and a normally closed switch. The switch you are replacing may have 3 prongs. These switches have 2 prongs and will work if you choose the correct one. These fuses are rated at 20 amps. Many microwaves use a 15 amp fuse. DO NOT replace a 15 amp fuse with a 20 amp fuse!

Exactly as described. Got the microwave heated and running again without buying a replacement unit.

Make sure the microwave is unplugged before any attempt at repairs is attempted. There are excellent instruction videos on YouTube on the replacement of door switches and buss fuses. A blown fuse is likely the result of a failed door switch. Door switches are a operated every time the door is opened and closed and as such are high wear item.

I have a 17-year-old Frigidaire microwave that works perfectly, but occasionally an internal safety microswitch will fail. They're fairly easy to replace, so it's good to keep a few on hand so that the microwave can be put back into service in a few minutes vs. several days having to wait for parts. The part itself fits and works as expected.

Our microwave stopped heating but had power. Couldn’t locate someone who wanted to work on it and most offered to just replace the entire microwave for $$$. Let king through the manual and after a couple minutes my husband was able to access this fuse, ordered overnight delivery and just like that we have our microwave back. Kids couldn’t be happier!

Usually when one of these microwave switches fails, it can also take out the fuse, so this is a smart bundle. And you can also replace BOTH interlock switches easily.Watch out though: One of the relays is is NC and one is NO. Make sure you grab the right one to install. I mixed them up and spent an hour tripping the circuit breaker before I realized my mistake! This worked on my Insignia microwave, and seems like a higher quality switch than what was originally installed.
