An absolute pain in the azz to install on spark plug wires that have L-shaped boots. Sounded like a good ideal to use these aftermarket heat boots on my 1997 5.7L Vortec engine after installing new spark plug wires, as we all know that the metal heat shields like to short out at the spark plug boot due to being at a such close proximity to each other. These aftermarket heat boots probably would have worked better if I had straight spark plug wire boots. Ended up not using these aftermarket spark plug wire heat boots as they made installing the ends of the spark plug wire onto the spark plug more difficult than it need be. Seems like a good product, just not for my application.
