So I bought these. They work great!I have an old beater kit set up for low volume practice. I’d pulled the wraps and just painted the shells, and they work great, but the empty vent holes always bothered me.These exactly fit the bill. I had to widen the hole with a drill bit very slightly and then they pop right in snug with a little tapping. To install properly you need a dremel tool to cut these down for the thickness of your shell, and then use a method to press the sleeve out and flat against the shell. Look up a video on YouTube from Chicago Drum Co on vents. I didn’t actually bother with that as they fit snugly and this kit never moves out of my practice room, and I didn’t want to take a head off and hassle with it. But it will look goofy from inside unless you do that, for whatever that info is worth.Shipment from China takes a long time but if you’re not in a rush they’re a 10/10.
