I remembered our a/c guy replaced this part around 1.5 years ago, and said these tend to go bad pretty quick for our type of unit. Well, I took a shot in the dark when our unit died this time and bought this part for under $20. It was easy to open the outdoor unit and install this part. It works great and it's cheaper than paying for after hours weekend house call.I found a video online of someone going step by step on swapping out the part. Best advice the video gave me was take your time and a picture of it before touching anything to use as a guide.
