I’ve always had rigid tools. All mother employees use Milwaukee but I’ve been a hold out on replacing my personal Rigid collection. I purchased this oscillator by Rigid that I have wanted for many years. It arrived. Immediately, the battery would not come off the tool. After 3 guys holding it in various ways and all of us working together with screwdrivers we got it pried apart. It did this on every battery we tried on it. We were on our first job with it and the blade attachment came apart. Small parts were lost and now I’ve spent more on the Rigid than I would have had If I would have just bought the Milwaukee. I wanted to return it but I was told it can’t be returned because it was purchased almost 3 months ago. It arrived defective. I should have returned it then but we stay so busy working that returns are the last thing I have time for. It would be nice if Rigid would step up on this one and replace it.
