This was easy to install on the front of my john boat and it seems to be of excellent quality. I like the fact that when I don't need it it's not in the way cuz I can remove it and stick it in the seat compartment.

This light works well and puts out a bright enough beam to work well at dusk and in the dark. The top shaft easily fits into the power socket and is secured tightly with the locking sleeve. The socket has a built in hole to drain water and an attached cap to seal when the light is not installed. The two wire leads are long enough to run through a panel, wall or bulkhead. The only downside is that there is not a rubber gasket at the base of the socket to seal when mounted. This may or may not be an issue for you depending upon how you are using the light.Over all I believe it is a quality light and a good value and can be used in many different applications.

I put this on the bow of my 14' aluminum fishing boat so I can run my boat on the lake at night for catfishing. Easy installation, solidly constructed, fits nicely in the socket and is bright enough to meet DNR requirements for visibility. Recommended.

It is easy to install. Fit the hole that my old one can out of. It looks and feel good in the hand. I like it. Works great.

What I like most about this red/green bowlight is that it feels Solid. I was concerned that a detachable extended light would get rounded off the bow of my center console but this thing feels tough. When tighten down the collar and try to pull the light out, it doesn't budge. It's locked in. I have confidence in it.When I tested it, it lit up nice. It threw good red/green light via a bright led.The stainless steel pole looks sharp and feels solid. Overall, this thing is pretty nice and not tinny, like I expected. I like it.

This nav light is just what I was looking for to install on my inflatable for late evening, night fishing trips. The socket is easily installed in the aluminum fore deck on my inflatable and the light pole can be stowed away when not in use. It is just the right height to show over the boats bow and low enough not to interfere with fishing.

This is a great looking bow light, but I ultimately ended up going a different direction on my kayak.

Things appear to be made of stainless steel which is what you need around the water. The plastic housing is solid and the LEDs inside are nice and bright. The receiving end (where you plug the light into) had a cover when the light is not plugged in plus it has drain holes at the bottom of it so it doesn’t hold water. I hooked it up to my truck battery ( because the boats in the shop) it came right on.
