This having a handle has come in handy more than once when I have my hands full. It hold a lot and it's very functional. There was no weird smell when I received it, definitely recommend for work or if you are a student interviewing. It feels nice, note it's not real leather. Looks great and definitely great for the price you pay! Not sure if it's scratch resistant as I have been taking care of it.

This Padfolio is a good quality binder-organizer. The zippers are smooth, the clipboard clamps down tightly and the binder rings are sturdy. It is lightweight and just the right size.Thanks to all the different sized pockets and organizers, I was able to stuff the Padfolio with more stuff than I could imagine. If you're a lady like me, who's cursed to sometimes wear pantsuits or dresses without pockets, you'd know what I'm talking about. Sometimes at work, I'd get called to an emergency meeting and would only have 5 minutes to prepare all my stuff. I know I would be needing a lot of tiny random things but there's no way I could take all of them, especially not without pants pockets!Luckily, this Padfolio could fit my tablet, notebook, letter-sized paper, pens and highlighters, a phone, and a granola bar if those meetings would stretch out for hours. LOL! In addition, if I'm on a business meeting outside of work, this could also hold business cards, my card wallet, IDs, etc. – everything I'd need all in one place. In the past, I would use to get paranoid that I may have left an important document or misplaced some items before I left the meeting. But with this Padfolio, I can rest assured that I got my ducks in a row and they're all coming home with me.And speaking of ducks, this thing is water resistant but the zippers are not waterproof. I don't think I need to explain why that's important. Anyway, this Padfolio is worth the money and looks professional.

As a consultant visiting 3 cities weekly, the water-resistant fabric and reinforced handle are lifesavers! Boarding pass/passport go in the quick-access front pocket, while interior dividers organize client files, receipts, and backup USB drives. Efficiency boosted 50%!

This portfolio/padfolio binder has been a great tool for me to use when I bring along many documents to my meetings, and especially when I need to go on site visits. It stores my writing tools safe and secure, and allows me to clamp down on the documents I bring to keep them in place so they don't fly away. There are several pockets that I also place things such as a small tape measure and a laser measuring tool. All-in-all, this binder looks great and keeps everything compact and all in one place which makes my life a lot easier as both a presentation and storage tool.

I generally like this for the organization and the zippered sides. The handle works well and is convenient. What I would love to see changed is the pen holder loops because they are super stiff and difficult to put most pens in and out. I would like to see (or hear) the crinkling sound go away that is somewhere within the wall of the zippered pouches. It's so noisy and I can only imagine it will attract a bunch of attention when in a classroom or meeting.

I realize this is "fake" leather, but it really isn't even a convincing fake. It isn't expensive and it feels like it's worth about half of what the price is. Very little padding at all, just fake leather over what feels like cardboard. I will give it points for the pockets and slots, which are nice, but there's better options for the money.
