Used to replace a different style headlight switch that would stay on. Works great now. No problem at all

This appears to be a good switch. I returned it because of the following:1. The dash light dimmer is a rheostat type and must still have the modification for LED bulbs in my instrument lights.2. It was near impossible to get the knob release button in a position to release the knob. There is no way I would be able to do that once in the vehicle. It was just a bear. My 50 year old OEM was not that tough to deal with.3. This was purchased as a replacement for my 70s Mopar which with the exception of the connector is essentially the same but, the rod is longer on this newer switch and my old knob would not fit.4. It is nice that it comes with the Series 56 terminals and connector. But, my existing wires are Series 58 (Mopar) and may not fit snug enough. Didn't want to cut good terminals off my existing wires. Would recommend a good Series 56 crimper for these female terminals. They are very good quality.I returned the switch in new condition. I did not put it into use, nor test fit it into the vehicle. Upon testing the rheostat with my multi-meter, I knew it was not going to solve my dilemma of the LED instrument and dash lights still using my Autometer LED dimmer.

My lights now work on my 1970 CST/10. The old switch dimmed the park lights and never let the headlights come on. I also love the updated dial emblem.

Already installed a painless chassis harness and low and behold everything matched on the switch to my wiring and good detailed directions. Happy I bought this!
