Very detailed and should be easy. I haven't finished it yet. Not enough time!

First adult paint by number painting for me. I am creative and have painted before but it's been a long time. After allowing myself to relax and blend edges and not get so uptight about the finished product I was able to relax and loved the process. The print was easy to read. The paint pods are clearly labeled no guess work. Very easy for beginners. I've not painted in over twenty years and I was not sure if thos would be too restrictive for me but it was not. It built my interest and allowed me some freedom with blending and shadowing and highlighting without the worry that it would look bad. I'm so very pleased with how mine turned out!!I am very happy with the end result. My stretch frame came in today so I will be framing it soon. I have a spot in my living room this will be displayed.I have purchased my second kit and am looking forward to completing it for a gift for my daughter.

Very relaxing, the only thing is the paint gets very gluey and will get stuck on the brush, so when you need to paint a different color, you have to add soap, water and use a paper towel to pull it off. Stress reliever until it’s time to use a different color. Other than that, cool activity to do with friends via zoom

There were no instructions and even though the listing says to start with the darker colors first, I started from the middle and worked my way out so that my hand wasn’t constantly running where i had already painted. I did this while my husband was in the hospital to keep my mind busy since I couldn’t be with him (COVID guidelines). It was enough to keep my mind busy but not complicated and frustrating. I recommend it and love how mine turned out...I’m going to pick another!

I love this picture and thought it came out amazing. My one big issue is that the canvas comes folded so there are creases but they flatten out over time. I had no major issues painting it and i have only done one paint by number before. The brushes are not great but they are doable. I also changed the colors a tad in different places that i liked more or less.

I’m a novice, so this was a fun and easy project to keep me busy and away from the countless hours spent on social media during quarantine. I thought I would be getting a 16x20 size, but it turns out it was just shy of that for finished size. I had to buy a stretcher frame separate from the canvas. Not a big deal, but the dimensions were incorrect (as can be seen by the finished product). There were a few spots that were not marked with a color code, but that was fine, the palette of colors lent itself to being easy to find a reasonable substitute. The canvas was a nice, durable weight. The paints dried quickly and there was minimal mess.

My first time doing a PBN and I really enjoyed it. From other reviewers I took the advice of ironing the canvas before I started painting by laying it face down and placing a thin towel on top I had to use a little steam and go over it several times but it took the creases out and the end result was great. My husband made a temporary frame and it was a good decision, the canvas starts getting heavy the more paint you apply and it helped keep its shape. I am going to take it off the wood frame and put it in a picture frame with a mat around it. Brushes are fine and lasted me all the way through I learned to start with all the detail and small area spaces first-the brushes are in the best condition and you don’t have to be as careful because when you then move on to the bigger spaces you can clean up any mistakes. There are no rules, just a guideline on what areas to paint what colors and I found it quite interesting to create my own textures throughout. II just got the Reindeer I ordered for my sister (it will be her first one) and my husband and I are going to do the next project together - a snowman and Santa.

I’ve started playing around with paint-by-number kits - trying to channel some of my bored pandemic energy in to something quasi artistic and relaxing. I have to call out this particular set: I think it’s awesome. I would say it’s a little more challenging than some others I’ve done. There are tons of very small areas that need to be painted so this isn’t something I would consider child friendly. But I think the design is really thoughtful and intentional: between the bright colors and the use of both stark black and white, this image truly looks beautiful when taken in from a distance. Some other paint-by-numbers that I’ve done require a lot of squinting to see the intended image, or they’re more abstract in general. This finished painting looks very dynamic and - as much as this can be said for a painting - realistic. Highly recommended!!
