I use to use one of these tools to paint everything well over a decade ago, and I’ve missed it. I need to repaint several rooms and am so happy to have this edging tool back. It’s almost exactly the same as I remembered, only better since it comes with the little handheld pole. My old ones came with the threads to attach it to an extension pole, but those poles were usually too big as I preferred to be up on the ladder to edge the wall at the ceiling. I’d also just to hold the tool to quickly paint around all of the doors, windows, baseboards and outlets. I like to use the “wrong” side (without the wheels) to cut in close, so proximity is necessary. A longer pole didn’t make sense for those areas, but this little one is perfect, and I can still extend the reach with my extension pole if I ever want to (I won’t). This little handheld pole that also rotates to accommodate any angle, is so awesome. The bonus gloves and two extra pads are a nice touch.

This thing feels great in my hand with its comfy, squishy handle, and it seems really well-made. The funny thing is, the roller wheels that are supposed to roll along the edge on mine are totally stuck! You can still slide it, but it's a bit ironic.Even with the non-rolling wheels, it's still a good, solid tool.
