Was really looking forward to having an item to help me paint edges. My hands shake a lot, so I really needed something to help with painting edges. However, this edger is inconsistent. As the pad gets dipped more and more the paint starts running off the pad on the sides leaving marks on the other part of the wall. Since it does work at times... maybe I am just doing something wrong... that is why it is rated low, and I would not recommend to others.

So these edge trimmers work if you are very careful with amount of paint, pressure used, and precision of the stroke. This semi defeats the purpose. The quality is quite low and I found them drippy and imprecise despite the flat edge. I am more precise with a brush. Maybe it's user error? But still the quality just feels very cheap.

Unfortunately I wasn't happy with the product. I was very hopeful for this tool. It started off well, but soon became an issue as the pad kept falling off the handle and making a mess. I persevered for a while, but gave up and just went back to using a brush. However, I was very disappointed when I removed the painters tape to find that the areas I had done with this edger/trimmer tool had bled underneath the tape and had to all be redone. This product is a waste of time and not fit for purpose.
