I have a compressor air painter before, but it is a chore to move the air compressor around. So I got this painter instead for some small painting tasks around the house. It works very well for that. Just pour in the paint and spray away. I have only used water based paint with it, and I always dilute the paint so it is easy to spray. It is very convenient to carry around and very easy to use. Recommended over the one with compressed air.
