Terrific for a class party. Kids were entertained mixing paint colors, making their own shades and this minimized mess. Trays a very sturdy, deep enough to hold a good amount of paint as well.

We have a household full of crafty people and I was sick of my kids wasting paper plates whenever they use acrylics. These are a great size for use with various small projects and can be washed and reused. They are also a good size for me to use with my watercolors, though I suppose it would be for everyone. I usually work with just a few colors at a time so I don't need large palettes. The plastic could be a little thicker and they will bend/twist if you apply pressure, but I just don't see that being a problem for this application. For the price, these are an excellent option.
