Three German Shepherds and one Belgian Malinois dogs don't find a requirement to be over dramatic about its use. It tickets their paws habit but nothing they can't overcome. Sound level is great, fits well in your hand with not much weight to it, and the battery life lasted with trimming all dogs with no issues. Great price to keep our little one pampered with an easy yo use device.

I didn’t need to use it right away so unfortunately I didn’t try it. I’m too trusting! So today I charged it (3/31/25) and although the light signaled green, that it was charged, nothing happens when I try to turn it on. There were absolutely no instructions other than some small pictures and even tinier words on the box. So now that I’m ready to use this item, it’s no good, and I’m past my return date.

When it operates ity is a great trimmer. Bought this in October 2024 & it already has quit working.

Easy to use, quiet and is perfect for trims especially around the pads of their feet. Safety blade prevents accidental cutting. Love this. Works great on my Yorkies feet and face.

This has been so helpful. My dogs slide on the floor when the hair on their paws and between their toes is too long. They now have great traction so no more falling down. It does not nip them and is really quiet so it doesn’t scare them. So glad I bought it.

I bought this item for my Golden Retriever's paws. It's quiet, and gentle for sure. It is a whole lot easier to use this than it is to trim the bottom of her paws with a pair of scissors. It's definitely safe for the dog's paws, I usually get really far in there, and it has never cut her. I will say, she gets pretty ticklish with this as opposed to scissors, so she pulls her paws away frequently. I've found that being LESS "gentle" and just going for it, helps diminish this. If I'm trying to be really gentle and careful, she pulls away more often. Eventually I learned to trust that the device wasn't going to cut her, and now I make quick work of it.CONS:-I do wish the trimmer had multiple settings. I feel like I have to go over certain areas several times, to really get the cut that I'm looking for.-The upper part of the trimmer "blade" is plastic, so it doesn't feel like it does as good of a job at cutting larger chunks of hair as a metal on metal trimmer blade would. Perhaps the plastic makes it more safe to the touch.OVERALL:I'm glad I have this. I use it often. Although, I do wonder if there's a "better" one out there that has multiple settings and a more powerful motor.
