We ordered this for our granddaughter to have while she is over and playing at her water table. This is the third water table pump that we’ve tried, the first one was terrible. So, relative to that experience, this one is great. It turns out this is identical to the second pump we ordered, and that pump was excellent compared to the first pump. Unlike the first pump, this pump comes with built in rechargeable batteries that are recharged using an included USB-C cable. There’s a tiny little indicator light that is difficult to see, but it will let you know the status of the pump while it is charging, and once it reaches full charge. It’s really nice to not have to unscrew a battery cover, and use our own batteries (which got wet with the first pump).In order to install this pump I just found a spot on the top of the water table that I felt gave enough stability underneath the pump, and had room where I could drill a hole and run the hose adapter through. Once that was done, I just had to screw down the nut and it held very nicely with the octopus pump plugged in place. I then ran the tubing along one of the supports, and used a couple of zip ties to hold it in place, so my granddaughter doesn’t mess with it. I cut a little section of the tubing off the end so the tube wouldn’t curl up and out of the water - there is plenty of tubing included. And now it works very nicely.The water stream has 3 settings, the first two settings are pretty weak, and the 3rd setting isn’t too crazy either, but all three settings are good enough to pump water up the tubing, and make a steady flow of circulating water so we don’t have to keep the water hose running while she plays.Since this pump is identical to the second pump we ordered, I chose to set it up on the opposite side of the table, just so she can have more water effects going at once. The way her Step 2 table is made, each water effect is sectioned off, so the pump can only feed one at a time.The Octopus Pump itself feels like it is made well, with good materials. Unlike the first pump we ordered which was flimsy, weak, junk.I would recommend this pump. It is a good, fun pump. And the ability to pop it off, take it inside and recharge it after play, is a huge plus.

This water table pump has its pros and cons. On the plus side, the battery lasts a long time and is easy to recharge, making it convenient for outdoor play. However, the water flow is underwhelming, which makes the experience less exciting for kids and not fun at all.While it’s a decent upgrade, there’s room for improvement to make it more engaging. Still a practical option for those looking for an affordable accessory.

This Palksky water pump is a great upgrade for our Step2 water table—kids love the flowing water! It's great so we don't have to constantly pour/refill water table. THe pump does the job for you. You do have to drill a hole in the table, which isn't ideal, but it was clearly stated in the instructions, so no surprises there. Once set up, it works great and the rechargeable battery lasts a long time.

When you first turn it on, it moves water, but not much. After an hour it's barely moving any water at all.Somehow I missed the low rating on this item and I regret my purchase. Off to find a better one.

It fits well with the Step2 water table and works as expected. The water sprays evenly, making it fun for kids. Easy to attach and simple for kids to use. Keeps little ones engaged for a long time.
