These bags were good quality and lasted through an industrial scale pool mucking job.I will definitely be ordering some more. Just as a point of information I wasn't using these on a regular pool vac, I had these on the business end of a 3" 90 GPM trash pump and they held there own.

Very fine. Weave. Which is why I got it because I wanted to scoop out some algae and it does do that. But I can't use it on the vacuum because it won't stay attached. It's so fine it fills with air and then as soon as I put the vacuum under the water it pops off LOL. So what I've been doing is just putting this mesh over the mesh net and scooping it out by hand.

We had so much sand in our pool after a pump and child not dipping their feet into the water basin before getting into the pool failure. Our regular little cheapside vacuum just picked up the sand and flung it everywhere. I am so glad I found these bags, you get plenty in the pack and they are huge so any pool size can be cleaned with these. We did as another reviewer said and doubled up the bags on the vacuum to help pick up sand, but honestly the 2nd bag had a very small amount of sand in it, the 1st bag picked up 99.99% of the sand and held it in the bag. So happy with these bags, and if you are finding out that your pool is more beach than pool, you really have to get these bags and feel my joy.

I hardly ever bother to write reviews but I was so impressed with this that I had to. There’s a lot going on in our lives currently between new jobs, storm-related damage to our home, pets getting injured, our ceiling caving in due to water damage, any inconvenient or attention soaking thing you can think of really. Needless to say, pool maintenance went on the back burner and it got FILTHY while I was busy managing everything else. This little vacuum is a LIFE SAVER! The suction is surprisingly strong, the price is super reasonable, and it was perfect for our 18”x4” above ground pool. I’m including a photo of the half-completed, half-filthy pool so you can see what a difference this little vacuum makes! It took the pool from a nasty dirty old pond to super clean and only needing a bag of shock in about 30 minutes of vacuuming. Full disclosure I did buy a finer mesh bag to use with the vacuum rather than the bag that was provided, because the pores were too large and small particles like fine dirt and algae were escaping. Even so, that was a cheap and easy fix. Those looking to use it for bigger debris like leaves or twigs and the like shouldn’t need to do that, I would imagine the original bag should be sufficient. The vacuum does it’s job so well that I would give this 6 stars if I could!

I would never buy these again I bought them thinking that they would actually clean my pool better than the InTex brand ones boy was I wrong. Yeah it does help get leaves out of the bottom of the pool but if you wanna vacuum dirt or sand or anything that has a grain like formula forget it it goes right through the bag and back into your pool my pool is clean all summer until I used these bags

Very happy with this filter bag. It’s truly a fine mesh that will trap the finest dirt in your pool including algae, if you have them. My only minor issue is also a result of using a tight mesh bag. The bag can quickly become clogged reducing the suction power of your vacuum cleaner. When this happens, it can trap air bubbles that can make the vacuum too buoyant, making it very difficult to clean the bottom of the pool until you backwash/clean the bag. Thankfully, cleaning the bag is very easy. Or you can switch to the other 3 bags that came with the package if you have a big pool and clean them once your done cleaning the whole swimming pool. I may have to shop for a different bag without the tight mesh for those days when I just want to vacuum leaves and other larger debris.Uploaded picture is a comparison between the new tightly mesh filter and my old one with looser mesh.
