I like the large size, and I think the improvements Pampered Chef has made to these steamers over the years are great. I can't share a picture to compare them because I threw the old ones out right away. I recommend this product.

We bought this to use as a veggie steamer and, after some learning curve, it's proven to be far better than our old fashioned stove top steamer.There weren't many instructions with it so you have to play with timings on your own. Depending on your microwave, the range of time needed to cook the vegetables vary but we've found that 3 minutes 30 seconds works for asparagus and 4 minutes 30 seconds for Brussel Sprouts...with other veggies between those.The results, once you get the timing right, give you much brighter flavors and colors.We haven't tried it for rice.

Ordered but never received it. Disappointed though. I have the older version which is still great, which is why I wanted another one. Very handy for cooking veggies rice or pasta in a hurry.

I have tried and sent back other micro cookers. This one is the best on the market. I had an earlier version of this from the pampered chef for 15 years and they were just now showing wear and tear. It does not get to hot to handle and always comes through for me.

Fabulous bowl! Does a great job with oatmeal - no more overflowing. Very easy to clean as well.

I bought to cook Mac and cheese noodle in the microwave. I have the 2qt but it spit water all over, as does this one. I think the trick is less water. I use it now to heat things up and do pasta in my Instant Pot instead. I do think the price is a bit high and if I knew the IP was better at cooking pasta would have skipped it.

I was very hesitant to buy this product. It looked too small. My last microwave rice cooker lasted 30 years! I was very pleasantly surprised! Love it! Lightweight. Easy to use.

Probably premature to review as only used once since it arrived, but Pampered Chef 3 qt Micro Cooker cooked brown rice perfectly. There was even no boil over on to the microwave turntable, as (the few grains that did make jump were caught by inner lid,Two quibbles:1. wish quart/liter lines were marked on inside of micro cooker; 2. directions are to stir brown rice after first tranche of cooking, but the hot inner lid could not be raised, even with an implement ... so I shook the pot and all seemed well.
