I have literally gone back and forth between 5 different ottomans, trying to find one that is not only the right price, but also deep enough & the right color. I initially bought the ottoman for my kids toys, so I needed something that was sturdy and deep, but also nice enough to keep in my living room. I contemplated for quite sometime, however, I kept coming back to this one for quite afew reasons.1.) It was the right contrast to my couches and carpet, so it blended in perfectly!2.) It was deep enough to fit all my children's toys! And I mean ALL of them! So now when it's clean up time? My girls know to pick their toys up, throw them in the ottoman, shut & done!3.) it was very easy to put together! Came with all the tools, Probably took me 30mins, and it only took that long because I have children lol4.) it doesn't slam, so I don't have to worry about little fingers being hurt, it has a soft close mechanism.5.) It looks good! Really good in my living room, sturdy enough for us to sit on if extra company comes around, and since it's off the ground, it's very easy to clean underneath It, which was a big one for me, since the ones that sit on the ground, tend to have debris on and stuck around it, which makes it hard to clean!6.) The material is very easy to wipe off, my toddlers have literally spilled everything on it...I mean EVERYTHING!! All I needed was some water and a paper towel and boom, gone!For the price? This ottoman is very well worth it!Only con is, the board that goes inside is not fully aligned and is also not fully connected, you just throw it on there, which I didn't really like since there's spaces left open, however for the purpose I needed it for, it didn't matter. It does what I bought it to do!

Nice but the bottom panel does not fit all the way across and it has nothing to hold it down.

This was easy to assemble. The directions made sense. It’s sturdy and looks nice. We were able to fit half a dozen folded couch blankets in it. Comfy to toss your feet up on.

I bought at near half price and the screws look like they've been exposed to the elements and were heavily pitted. The bottom board was so cheap it was practically falling apart while putting sliding it into the bottom.It was still worth the half price and I had enough screws and parts left over in the garage to complete it and make it stable. Be warned the internal component / bottom board can only hold around 20 lbs. It's very cheaply made but, it does the job if you're looking for cheap storage. I put this under my computer desk so it wasn't a high visibility item for me.

OK... I gave it five stars, but it's obviously not fine furniture. However, it was only $30!!! I looked a other ottomans on Amazon, and I looked on that big furniture website, but all of that stuff was over $100. I simply wanted something to put under a window so my dogs can see out. This is perfect! I know it's not going to last a lifetime, but it's going to last 10 years, at least, which means this is only going to cost me about $3 per year.Also, it's great that it opens up to let me store stuff inside. I'm going to put the dogs harnesses, leashes, and toys in it.

Made a loud crunch sound within an hour of sitting on it normally. I'm not a large person. It is described as a seat.If you intention is just to use it as a table, it looks good enough. The floor on the interior is just 2 pieces of thin wood places in there, held in places by holes in the board lining up with screws or nubs. It somewhat stays in place but the boards are not fully flat and any weight in the non-supported areas (most of it) causes it to bend. They mostly stay in place due to tension on the nubs and corner screws (the tops of the feet) but one was looser than the other.Lastly, make sure that this is what you are expecting as the seller will fight you returning it. The policy says you can return it, and you can, but they contact you to convince you not to. First by saying you are not able to, then by trying to fix the issue (I got offered new arms. This was after explaining the top panel had broken internally twice). They only agreed to approve the return after I had already shipped the items and on the condition I remove the negative seller review I gave.
