These pliers get the job done effortlessly. This has become my go-to clip remover.

These work fantastic... removed lots of fender liner clips and other interior buttons with them. They are sharp as others state so you do need to pay attention as to not cut into the clips you are removing... But its the fact that they are so sharp that makes them work so well at getting under tightly installed clips.
