A new kind of feeder from pangea

  • The white chunks are typically potassium sorbate and small pieces of coconut flakes that can't be sifted out during the production process. These are a natural part of the diet. The black parts are insect parts that are an important part of the diet.

  • Under normal circumstances your gecko will only need 3 to 5 feedings per week. Occasional feeding with live insects is recommended by not required with this diet.

  • It depends on the age of your gecko. Most Juveniles should receive about 1/16th of an ounce or a dime size portion. Subadults should receive 1/8th of an ounce or a nickel sized portion. An adult should receive a quarter to about a half ounce portion.

  • The ice crystals that form during the freezing process can potentially damage the cell walls of the plant ingredient contents and reduce the overall nutritional value of the diet.

  • The prepared feed can be compared to a fruit smoothie. A fruit smoothie sitting in a humid tropical environment like a gecko terrarium will not last as long as it would while refrigerated.

We live in a small town and can't find this stuff anywhere...so we order it online! This brand was recommended by our reptile breeder and Amazon has the cheapest. Just add water to powder equal ratio and our gecko loves it. Smells like bananas.

This food mix is the absolute best for my gecko, she loves it and always heads straight for her feeding ledge when I put it in her cage. It's perfect if you cannot get crickets on a regular basis, it's full of nutrition, plus, it's incredibly easy to make. I mix about 1/2 a teaspoon of powder with 1 teaspoon of water and mix until it's about the consistency of ketchup. 5 stars! I will definitely be buying it again.

Either our crested gecko doesn’t eat much, or this bag is Mary Poppins. The food lasts so long! You’re definitely getting your moneys worth. Our crested doesn’t enjoy eating live crickets, so this is a great way to get his nutrition balanced!

The Pangea Fruit Mix with Insects is a hit with my crested gecko. The powder is smooth and easy to mix. My friends recommended it, and I also bought other flavors from this brand. While not necessarily my day geckos favorite Pangea flavor, I add it into their food rotation to get protein in their diets. This is an especially good Pangea flavor to provide to baby day geckos who are growing! I put my Pangea packets in a ziplock bag and toss them in my refrigerator to extend their shelf life. I like the brand and my geckos seem to like the food overall too, which is important since they’re the ones eating it!
