This is an awesome replacement for your Mini's leaking/warped Oil Filter/Oil Cooler Assembly! Side by side it is indistinguishable from the factory original part in design and quality.It includes the keyed gaskets installed both on the rear of the oil cooler stack and the mating surface of the oil filter assembly and your engine block.I inspected all machining, passageways and mating surfaces for left over manufacturing materials that could restrict oil flow or contaminate the motor oil. It was flawless.Before installation, I took apart the assembled oil cooler stack to ensure the gaskets were seated correctly, not pinched in any way and added a small amount of high temp RTV Silicone sealant to its mating surfaces to add an additional layer of security and to improve long term performance. The same was done to the mating surface of the oil filter assembly flange and the engine block.Be sure to evenly tighten opposing bolts to ensure even and consistent pressure is applied to the mating surface to your engine block and conform to your engines mating surface to get a perfectly flush installation.This Pangolin part is truly an awesome optiin that gets you back on the road for nearly 1/4 of the cost when compared to purchasing this component from the dealership!!
