Solid hard cover, 8.5" x 10" size is just right. Book doesnt "lay flat" but just press down at the seam a bit to flatten as with any other normal book. Plenty of space to write on, as, each guest has his/her own page. Pages have cues to document dates of stay, where visiting from, what you did/saw, places you'd recommend to other visitors to see, and other comments. One difference from other guest books is, there are two different lines to put date arrived and date departed. Other books have not enough space to write both dates. I was looking for shorter edge, at 10" and looking for a book that it is horizontal (more room to write) instead of vertical. This guest book had just about everything I wanted. It was wrapped in a nice protective plastic sleeve and in perfectly new condition.

It’s so cute! But th book was put together incorrectly.. The cover and the 1st page matched but then you had to turn the book upside down to write in it. I was so disappointed, I had to return it. It should have never been sent out. I have ordered another one. Hopefully the new one will be correct.

Such a cute guestbook for our son’s mountain home! Each page has more room than just ‘where are you from’, you can actually add what you did, what was good and what was bad! “Be sure to eat at Moe’s” etc. very well made and thought out

Bought this for my cousins new Air B&B that sits in a woodsy area along with a set of pens that are wooden style...perfect set! The pages are not too thin or too thick. The whole book is very nicely put together. Worth the purchase for sure!
