I served cheeseburger soup (for 120) at church lunch on a very cold Sunday. The bowls are very sturdy, and the children managed them well.

Bought these for a chili party. They held up fine and we're conveniently disposable

Our church has soup n services during lent , with many varieties of soups. These bowls hold a good bit so you can switch to a different soup the second time around

Well, if you are wondering if these hold up to heavy and oily substances, these bowls held over 150 servings of Trisha Yearwood's crockpot Southern Mac & Cheese . . . so, yeah. They. do.*These left no residue, or had that weird spoon-drag you get with Chinet.*Smooth interior, good exterior for grip (not like slippery styrofoam), and zero edge buckling or bowl puckering.*Stacked well, separated easily, and were often perched on the 10 inch plates without incident.*Even when dumping out orphaned bowls of Mac & Cheese during clean up the next day, the food slid out and there was no bond with the liquids/oils in any way (like typical paper plates after setting out in July)Buy with confidence that this product is BETTER than traditional non-compostable options.-Summer on Michigan's West Shore
