I'm a die hard who refuses to put LED lights in my kitchen for a multitude of reasons - colour temp, light quality (CRI), incompatibility with dimmers and limited dimming capability, and many more reasons. Halogen bulbs are getting harder to find so from time to time I stock up and was happy to order these for a fair price. Viva la Halogen!

These bulbs are exactly what I was looking for. I’ve had difficulty finding short neck bulbs that fit my recessed lighting. Other bulbs were either too big or protruded out because the neck was too long. These bulbs fit snug up into the fixture so that you see only the bulb itself and not the neck. The bulbs are bright and dim without flickering. I am using these bulbs for interior recessed lighting. One may want a larger bulb for exterior use.

I use it for recessed lighting. The neck is shorter than I expected, but with a bulb extender, I was able to make it work.

These replace the same bulbs made by Phillips that I’ve been using for a dozen years. They fit the same and are no different. Hopefully they will last as long, but only time will tell.
