Was fine until I added 3 pieces of ice to the pitcher. It cracked the pitcher and all I wanted was cold lemon lime water! Don’t buy this item, I found a better pitcher from the grocery store.

I’ve had this pitcher for almost a year. I can’t believe I haven’t broken it. It seems “light weight “ , but it has been great. A very attractive, half gallon pitcher. Perfect for my Crystal Light.

I use these for iced tea, which is a pretty good test case as these teas stain, easily, and you can easily taste any sort of imbued flavors. fortunately, these have not suffered any such issues, and I've even thrown them into the dishwasher without problem...well mostly. The lids on them work great, but washing them does cause the rubber gaskets to go a bit whacky, and you'll need to adjust them when reusing them afterwards. not a huge deal, and the seal will hold up just fine in spite of that, so it's just a small annoyance. Ideally the rubber gasket can be taken off, but that may not be possible for this design. The spout and lid do make pouring easy, and it doesn't leak, even in spite of the whackiness with the seal so long as you actually adjust it. It's pretty sturdy glass (feels a bit more like plastic, but hey), and like I said survived the dishwasher. I wouldn't drop test it, but it seems like it'd do fine enough. The handle shape is very good leaving plenty of space for even the burliest of hands, and it tapers right at the very top and bottom, meaning it's space efficient, if not insanely elegant.

The pitcher was great. Easy to clean. It was great for use , made tea in it several times over the summer. I didn’t have any problems with it, other than that it was so thin. I just wanted to make some tea a found the spout broken, it must have bumped up against one of the other containers I have by the sink.

Durable, functional and pretty to look at. I am super satisfied with this pitcher. It has a great capacity and I love that I can boil water in the pitcher directly on the stove. Great value for the price.

I ordered this glass pitcher because it was made of borosilicate glass which I hoped would stand up well as an iced tea pitcher. While it is pleasant to look at the glass is so thin if it hits anything its going to break. In fact this is a replacement pitcher. The first one arrived broken into tiny little pieces. The lid also is very thin metal. Disappointed.Giving credit where credit is due - observations after two months:The pitcher fits well in the frig, looks nice, and even though I only hand wash it, it has held up well. One note, when washing the pitcher you have to make sure you get all residue out of the little impressions in the glass, on the inside of the pitcher.
