Great value for the price. I bought for use as tent / tarp guylines. It's very thin and somewhat stretchy cord, so it's less ideal for a ridge line, though it could be used for that.Dyneema / Spectra cord would be better for ridgelines, and also more ideal for guylines, due to higher strength and especially lower stretch (plus higher stiffness makes it easier to work with and more tangle resistant), but that costs much more. Or use something like 3mm accessory cord from PMI (available at REI).This is an excellent budget option for very thin / lightweight cord that will serve many purposes, and is much lighter and less bulky than most accessory cord which is way thicker than necessary. The retro-reflective filament works great and looks good (retro-reflective is not the same thing as reflective, so if you don't understand the difference, don't blame the product.. It does exactly what it's supposed to do.).

I have a non-freestanding tent that gives the most interior room when fully guyed. These lines held up in windy, rainy weather (they stretched a little and needed to be tightened, but that's too be expected with this type of line). They were very reflective by headlamp at night which I appreciate for safety. The reflective part of the line feels a little rough to me, making the line a little difficult to tie up for storage, but overall I really liked it anyways. The two colors were good so I could cut them to different lengths and know at a quick glance which length I wanted.
