The size is great, the color lovely. Lies super flat. Acid-free paper is just heavy enough; notebook overall is still thin and transportable.

Besides the lovely toothsome paper and darling variety of covers, my favorite thing about these linen-bound Alibabette Editions notebooks is that they open and lay flat. Also their quality construction can keep apace with wild journaling and all kinds of al fresco art media and still maintain their integrity thanks to the sturdy sewn binding. Truly a great travel companion!
