This cable is made like you expect from Toro. I bought it because I needed to kludge a brake cable onto an old mower deck that I had put a new HF engine on. A throttle cable isn't suited for actuating/releasing a safety brake, so I adapted this to a throttle control lever. The cable will probably outlast all the other parts, including the engine. It is nice and strong with a hefty "dog leg" that connects to the brake actuator.
