These are VERY thin. Wouldn’t use for anything heavy. If it’s for clothes or something light, then ok. Otherwise, do not pack anything heavy.

Unfortunately, the boxes that I received were not the same color as the one in the main photo. It is the other, cheaper type of boxes. The box is very thin. Considering the length of the box, it won't hold on its own even if a lightweight item is stored in it. There is no way this box can be a moving box or a shipping box, unless you are shipping feathers or some towels, I am not kidding. I used tape to seal the bottom as much as I could so that it doesn't fall apart.

Had need for these novel-size boxes for a move + long-term storage. This style good to stack long items....I used mine for old sports gear (bats, clubs), gift wrapping paper (tubes), my son's bb-guns, a few kites, etc. etc. The boxes are sturdy; they set up easily with shipping tape, same as any other cardboard moving box. [An obvious note: the length of this box requires a lot of tape to make this box secure.]I'd compare the quality of these to any standard moving boxes one might purchase from stores such as Lowes, Home Depot, (etc.) - which is to say that the quality is good. I'd go 5-stars but for the price. Not outrageous mind you, but not cheap either. Looking at reviews of less expensive versions of the same - I am glad to have these. Several reviews of a few other bands indicate bad experiences with a flimsy item. You'll be happy with these Partners Brand boxes.

These boxes broke my heart. I ordered the 48x12x12" to ship my art to an art exhibit, after reading the positive reviews and looking carefully at the product specs. All I can say is that these are hands-down the worst shipping boxes I've ever seen, especially for large size boxes. I don't know how they've managed to achieve such a high rating on Amazon.I almost cried when I unwrapped them from the shipping plastic. They are so thin, I could easily tear them with my hands. I actually compared the thickness of one of these boxes to a regular 'ol Amazon shipping box, and these are substantially thinner. But that's not all. The cardboard is...I don't know... softer? Most shipping boxes have a smooth, dense feel. These feel soft, somehow. The paper used in the corrugation just isn't strong or dense enough. It might be ok for *tiny* shipping boxes, but it's downright irresponsible for anything large.Anyway. I ended up cutting up extra boxes and gluing layers of them inside these boxes to strengthen them. I also folded corners of extra cardboard and glued them along the inside corners to stabilize. These boxes were so structurally unstable, I had to cut new bottoms and glue them to the inside to keep them from twisting. And then I mummified the whole package from the outside with shipping tape. Lather, rinse, repeat. I had a lot of large cartons to mail, and the whole process was absurd.If you are thinking I'm mad because I was shipping something too heavy for these boxes, you're wrong. My packages weighed less than 8 pounds when I finished, and that's including all my layers of extra cardboard glued to the inside. The single-wall version of the boxes I ordered are rated for up to 64 pounds. I'll add that I used to do shipping/receiving for a business, and I've handled many different kinds of boxes. I've never seen anything this awful before.I will NEVER purchase anything from this brand again, and I am FURIOUS that these are being presented as sturdy, strong, durable, etc. No way!!!
