Want something that works? Don't order from Amazon. This is the third time. They kept on sending products that were returned from other buys.

Vent Solenoid worked, Check engine light stays off now once cleared, part looked correct, my car needed a little wire connector adapter, because of a vehicle modification after certain years

Got the code for a faulty solenoid. Repair guy said he could do it "next week" for $500-$600 (as of right now, because he hasn't done a full diagnostic; could be more). I ordered this part with the electrical adapter for less than $50, crawled under the truck, unbolted ONE bolt, and the entire cartridge came out without even having to drop the spare tire. The whole thing took less than half an hour and saved hundreds of dollars. After that, the truck easily passed smog and there was no longer a Check Engine light.

Not bad to change, 1 bolt, 2 plastic hose locks, 1 wire clip.. fit exactly. Hose was tough abit till i hit it with heat gun. It match, fit exactly and stopped throwing purge valve code(engine light).. i did have to get codes erased though. Worked 100%.

Perfect, fixed my code and I had read enough reviews to know that I also had to buy the wire adapter that was needed as well. If you don't know what I'm talking about keep researching. (19257603 GM) My car needed a new wire adaptor but I still saved hundreds on a true diy fix.04 pontiac grand prix

Bought this for a 2006 Colorado and it fit perfectly and solved the problem. This part number corresponds to a Hummer but still works at a fraction of the price of the Colorado part. The local parts supplier wanted about $120 bucks for this part and $60 for 6 inches of wiring that is needed. I think my total delivered (as promised within the time) cost was about $38 US. I am no mechanic but it only took about a 1/2 hour to put it in. I believe the OBDII code was 0449.Thanks Amazon.

This is great for fixing a P0446/P0449 OBD check engine code on a Chevy. Last time it failed the garage charged me $272, so this along with the YouTube on how to install it is great value. A word of caution: on my 2006 Impala I also needed a connector cable part number 19257603 to join the new unit to the car. GM has changed the connector type of this part. Amazon says that the cable is not needed and that it will not fit on my car but it is wrong and you can't connect without it.

My 2006 Monte Carlo has been bugging me to tighten the gas cap, and throws the check engine light on. I replaced this, and the message went away. The check engine light also turned off on it's own after a few drives.I am only giving this three stars because it is ACDelco, and the original was an ACDelco. The original ACDelco failed prematurely, so this product is not that great.
