I replaced the old actuator with this one and all the functions worked without having to reprogram it!Was a little disappointed with the cost after I found out I could have bought it cheaper elsewhere. It pays to shop round folks!

one of the attachments clips was faulty causing the piston to come off and get wedged in the tailgate and the roof of the car. said GM i don’t think so

Took ten minutes and only used a flat head screw driver. Plugged right in and looks great. Works great

No need to be a mechanic to change it out, just a little bit of common sense. You pop off the plastic trimming from the hatch( highly recommend to use the plastic clip remover tool)prop your hatch up, use a flat head screw driver to remove the retainer clips, unplug old part and remove, repeat process in reverse order, however you will not use flat head, you simply snap the actuator in place.
