It's a good size football for little one learning to play. My 5 yr old really enjoys throwing it. However, it is really difficult to throw with bigger hands. The shape is really awkward, but perfect size for little ones. The quality is cheap and stiff.

Good starter football! It's quite durable and the size and shape make it easy for that very young avid football fan to throw and catch outside. It's also set so that the player can set it endwise for kicking. Although half the size of an actual football, it is a good starter for kickoff!

My 2yo is really enjoying these footballs to throw around, he loves the random directions it flies off in when he throws it to the ground.

This PassCatch training football is also known as the fatherless football because kids can play solo with its unique design—the rounded front lets it bounce back when thrown against a wall, making it perfect for practicing passing and catching alone.Personally, I like throwing and catching this type of ball better than a traditional football, but it doesn’t spiral as well. I ordered a size #5 (Pee Wee), which is meant for age 3-9, and it’s perfect for my 7- and 9-year-old sons. Here’s how I’d rate it:Material: Composite leather with a rubber-like feel—may not hold up as well as real leather, but it feels nice. 4/5Grip: Feels like rubber, so the grip is very good and sticks to your fingers. My boys have no problem throwing and catching this. I’m a little over 5 ft, and I find it easy to catch, even one-handed. 5/5Flight: Stability and accuracy aren’t the same as a traditional football—it’s harder to throw a spiral, especially since it’s smaller. 2/5Visibility: Mostly black with a little green and white—wish it had better contrast, since it’s harder to see in the dark. 2/5Overall Value: Price vs. quality and features—solid choice for youth learning to catch and throw. 4/5Overall, it’s a great ball for kids to practice solo or with friends—definitely recommended!

Great ball! Very durable! The function of it makes it very easy for my toddler to catch! My toddler loves it and has so much fun playing catch with it! Great size! About half the size of an actual football.

Not exactly what I was thinking the product was when ordering! However, once we figured out that it is a bounce back football our kiddo spent hours throwing it into his rebound net and practicing his catches!

Beautiful richly colored peewee sized practice football. Not too heavy for a 3 year old, great way to get kids initially acquainted with the feel of a football. As they play with it, the bounces back to them are a great opportunity to learn catching passes. Extremely well made and feels durable and able to withstand hard hits against wall or the ground. No escaping air, you need a pump as it comes deflated just make sure you don’t overinflate. So much fun to see them discover a sport!
