Use a crowbar to pry the old glass together with the plate;
Unplug the pins which connect the old glass;
Put the pins into the new glass;
Put the plate align with the steering gear, and press it on the center.

The first time I replaced my mirror it kept coming loose after driving and would shake like crazy. I must not have gotten it snapped on properly the first time because since I took it off and put it back on it hasn’t budged.

OEM product pictured has slots for the grounding tab (standing to the left) to slip into. This product is solid in that area making it impossible to install the tab. I must wonder what issues this may cause.Otherwise, the product is entirely functional. Dimensioned properly for easy installation and the glass provides a clear image.
