Perfect fit and ridiculously easy install, just pulled it out of the box & popped it in! The mirror is a lightweight plastic so there is a slight waviness in the reflection, but I’ll still use it anyway.

Quick delivery. Initially mirror looked wavy and warped, but after a few days in the sun it flattened out. Weird...but works for me.

See attached pictures to see the differences between the OEM version, and this thing. While the product description and the "fit guide" from Amazon say this will fit, it won't. I tried on a 2012 VW Passat, and not only is it not the correct size, you can't even make it fit because part of it is taller than it should be, so it doesn't even fit in the mirror casing (and if it did, it would look terrible as there would be about 3/4" on the side that was just empty.Luckily it has free returns, but you may want to just save your time and not get it in the first place.For reference, the REAL OEM is:VW Part # 3C8-857-522-C (right/passenger side in US)VW Part # 3C8-857-521-B (for the left/driver side in US)Both have defroster hookups. Unfortuntely, VW likes to sell 'em for over 100 bucks, but if you shop around, you can get the actual OEM ones for 70-80. Still overpriced, but better than this thing at any price, since it doesn't fit.

I ordered the HEATED version "New Replacement Passenger Side Mirror Heated Glass W Backing Compatible With 2012-2017 Volkswagen Passat 2011-2018 Jetta" https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B087DW2D4B and received the NON-HEATED version "New Replacement Passenger Side Mirror Glass W Backing Compatible With 2012-2017 Volkswagen Passat 2011-2018 Jetta" https://www.amazon.com/dp/B087DRXJS1 . I'm hoping seller contacts me and resolves this as soon as possible since each day that goes by, I risk getting a ticket for having a broken mirror on my car.
