High Quality high dissipation resistor set. Used in a project to monitor current draw. Works well in my case. Although not pushed to extremes, the tolerance is tight on these and they are light weight and durable.

Good good aluminium cased wire wound resistors in a standard form factor, although these only have mounting points on one side of the resistor, as opposed to opposing sides on other brands.Obviously being rated at 100W, they will get very hot when under load, hence the information about not fitting them to combustible materials as that would start a fire. They work best when located on a larger metal heat sink such as a metal sheet or better.The resistances are rated at 5%, which is typical for this sort of power level. They measure fairly accurately to their stated value when using a good meter and nulling out the cables.I tested the resistor with a power supply and increased the voltages to get to the target 100 Watts, although I had not mounted the resistor to any form of heat sink, such as heat sink is required for sustained high power output. The resistor handled the load well, but it did emit a small amount of smoke when I reached the high end of the power envelope, which is to be expected as there is nothing for it to sink its power into and as it was its first time getting hot. The resistor still measures accurately to its stated 1R once its cooled down.I am happy with these resistors, they are ideal for power testing or current measurement purposes.
