I am using these lights in a nonpartisan and patriotic "get out the vote" display that will be up at my workplace from now through Election Day. The most important feature for me was the ability to plug the lights into a wall socket for power via usb because so many led lighting strings are battery-only. My display needs to be on 10 hours a day for the next three months, so I know I will be saving a lot of batteries. You can choose to use these lights with or without the small plastic figures that go inside the stars (I chose without) and they look great either way. The flashing sequences can be changed, but no matter what setting they are perfect to attract attention without being too gaudy. I have received many compliments on my lighted display and many folks have said that it is a good reminder about the upcoming election. Don't forget to vote!
