I had to lift up a section of my paver walk to add more aggregate and slag because ants decided that was a good place to make a nest last season. I usually use a couple of big ‘ol screwdrivers to lift out pavers when I need to. I had these tools to try this time.They worked much better than screwdrivers, for sure.It’s a set of two and I found it very handy to have both of them. There are little points on the ends which really contact the paver way better than a screwdriver and they didn’t bend. The rubber coated handles were easy to grip with gloved hands.It’s probably not something you will use terribly often but, when you need it, you’ll be glad to have them in your tool box. If you do this sort of thing regularly or have large spaces covered with pavers that will need maintenance fairly regularly, these would be a must-have. I think they’re a little expensive but they worked as described and did make the chore easier.

It’s always helpful to have the right tool for a job, and I finally have the right tool to remove creeping grass from between my sidewalk pavers and to rip them up when they’ve settled or the ants have destroyed their foundation. My previous method was a designated old butter knife. These are sturdier, more efficient, and have much better handles. I’m pleased and I’ll dread messing with the pavers just a little less. Woohoo!

So I'm a DIY homeowner, and we have a ton of brickwork/patios around the house... probably around 3000 sq ft.Every year at least a few pavers settle, and I end up pulling them up to throw some sand underneath. I've been using screwdrivers and whatever other things I can find - when I saw this I kind of laughed but figured I'd give it a try.I have to say I'm impressed.. They came today and I went outside and I'm actually looking forward to playing with them this year!

We have a few areas of brick that have sunken and turn into big puddles on our walkway. These tools do a great and easy job of taking out the pavers and lifting them for repairing the path. They work better than a screwdriver or butter knife have in the past. I wouldn’t say they are a need, but man are they nice to have!
