This is an automatic reptile feeder. This is a great idea! It is a plastic resin bottom that is divided in half and the water bottle goes in the middle. One half is for the food and the other half is for the water. The little water bottle will keep you going for a few days without having to change it every single day. I got this for my fancy leopard gecko who is uncharacteristically fascinated by water. On one side of this, I have placed her live mealworms, and on the other side I let the water flow into the dish. I am having a problem with the live mealworms crawling over into the water. But that is on me, not the design of the dish. This is actually a very practical well-designed dish which should make any reptile very happy!

I got this for my tortoise as she is a messy eater. She constantly knocks over her food bowls and gets the mulch from her tank into her food and water since she walks all over them. I will say that this has been an improvement for sure. Since the water bottle is heavy it doesn't allow her to tip it over since it is weighted down and it is tall enough that she can't climb all over it. I also like that the dish has two separate sides for food and water. The water bottle is easy to refill as well you just have to read the instructions to do it correctly. The only thing I don't like about it is that the wall between the food and water sides is too short so sometimes her food gets into her water and vice versa. It would be perfect if the wall between the sides was higher.

My hermit crabs seem to like this a lot. I don't use the otherside for food. It's their salt water area. It's a great item. Worth the cost. It's simple to use.
