I ordered this lead test kit since some of the water services around my area have a known lead problem. The kit was easy to use and thankfully my test came out negative. Some years ago I had lead poisoning and the side effects are not fun. You normally do not even know you have it till later on. I was glad to see the negative line on this kit. My picture shows what the lines look like.

Within 10 from receiving this kit, I had tested my water. No Lead in my water :)The instructions are straightforward. No extra cost or sending off the test strips to a lab is needed. The reason why I bought this kit is because there are 4 test strips included. I’ll be testing the water in my rental unit as well. When I do the next test, I’ll try to follow up by subsequently adding a lead item to the water and see if it will test positive. It’s always nice to get confirmation that a test kit works. I would buy it again.

Was very simple to use. Test of my water was negative which is great. Hard to tell if those kits are accurate or not, but 5 stars for ease of use. I do think they are all overpriced, even this one being the most economical one.

I was sure I had lead in my water, but thanks to this test I'm relieved to find that I don't. I'll still use a pitcher/filter combo for daily drinking, but am a lot less concerned about the tap water now. :)

I got these lead water test kits for my RO system to be sure nothing is affecting the water. My RO water tested negative, which was reassuring. I then took the same water and put a piece of lead tape in it overnight, and it tested a strong positive for lead, confirming that the test really is detecting lead. Testing instructions were easy to follow and result was fairly easy to read (the numbers were offset on one strip, but I could still tell which side the line was on).

I've been curious about testing my water for a while now. The town is very old and has recently sent out letters saying there are some lead pipes in town. This was very easy to use and easy to read. I did get a negative result thankfully so no lead here. Its worth it for the peace of mind.
